Do you not recognize a charge?

Charges from StraightTerms appear on your statement as STRAIGHTTERMS. We are a contract review tool: you upload an agreement before you sign it and get back the risky clauses quoted word for word, in plain English.

There are exactly two things you can buy, and neither one renews itself. If you were charged more than once, or charged after the period you paid for ended, that is a mistake and we want to hear about it.

What you paid for

• $9.99 7-day pass. Up to 10 reviews within 7 days. One charge. It ends on its own.
• $49 annual plan. Up to 50 reviews over 365 days. One charge. It ends on its own, and we email you before it does.

You can see what you currently have, how many reviews are left, and how long it lasts on your account page.

Refunds

If the tool did not help you, email us and we will refund you. There is no form and no argument.

• Passes: full refund within 7 days of purchase.
• Annual plans: full refund within 30 days of purchase.
• Past those windows, email anyway and tell us what happened. We would rather sort it out than have you file a dispute.

Refunding a purchase ends the access it paid for.

Reaching a human

Email support@straightterms.com. StraightTerms is run by one person, so expect a reply within two business days rather than in minutes. If it is urgent because you have a document to sign, say so in the subject line.

What we cannot do

We are not a law firm and we cannot give you legal advice, tell you whether to sign something, or represent you. Reviews are AI-generated and can contain errors. If real money is on the line, talk to a lawyer. The full terms are on the terms page.
